Use the Price Exceptions Reports

Counterpoint has built in reporting for Price Exceptions, or situations where a price was changed when selling an item. The two reports are:
  • Price Exceptions Report – For unposted sales transactions
  • Price Exceptions History Report – For posted (historical) sales transactions
Both Price Exceptions Reports can show you:
  • Transactions and line items with a price override applied
  • Transactions and line items where a prompt for price item was rung up
Running the Price Exceptions Reports is one way that you can look for shrink situations.
