Calibrating the Ingenico iSC250 Touchscreen

Sometimes, the Ingenico iSC250’s touchscreen can perform differently than the end user expects. For example, the Ingenico might:

  • Register a cancel instead of an okay button press
  • Clear signature when the user has not selected the clear button
  • Appear to write without the stylus

Follow these steps to recalibrate the iSC250’s touchscreen:

  1. Press and hold the [Clear] and [-] (minus) keys simultaneously on the iSC250 payment terminal to reboot it
  2. When the iSC250 reboots and the grey Retail Base screen appears, press [2], [6], [3], [4], and the [Enter] key
  3. The Press + for menu screen appears, press the [+] (plus) key to display the functions menu
NOTE: If you do not see the Press + for menu screen, restart from step 1
  4. Select Telium Manager > Initialization > Hardware > Calibration to display the Calibration screen.
  5. For Counterpoint Version 8.4.6.19 or 8.5.2.1 (Ingenico RBA 1506): Press [7], [5], [8], [1], and the [Enter] key to recalibrate the payment terminal.
