Setting Up BOGO Promotions

Buy One Get One promotions are a wonderful tool for your business’ tool belt, and Counterpoint can be configured to process these deals automatically.Whenever you set up a price rule in Counterpoint consider the following questions:

  • Who – Which customers are eligible for this price rule? Do they have something in common, like their category?
  • What – What items qualify for this price rule? Can you mix-and-match them and still qualify for this price rule?
  • When – Does the price rule have a beginning date or ending date?
  • Where – Does this price rule only work at certain stores in your database?
  • How – How are you pricing items? Is this a buy one get one free promotion? A buy two get one free?
